[ Game End User License Agreement ]

1.1 The Publisher grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the Game for personal, non-commercial purposes on the Steam platform, subject to the terms of this Agreement and the Steam Subscriber Agreement. 1.2 This license permits installation on any device where you are logged into your authorized Steam account, in accordance with Steam's policies on simultaneous use. 1.3 This license does not grant you any ownership of the Game or its content. You are licensing the right to use the Game, not purchasing the Game itself.

2.1 The Game, including but not limited to its source code, object code, artwork, text, narrative content, music, sound effects, game design, user interface, and all associated documentation, is the intellectual property of Protocol 47 Press and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. 2.2 The "Silence Protocol" universe, including all fictional entities, terminology, lore, and narrative elements (such as "sigma", "Valis", "Silicon Federation", "$WATT", and all archive documents), is the exclusive property of Protocol 47 Press. 2.3 All rights not expressly granted in this Agreement are reserved by the Publisher.

You may NOT: 3.1 Copy, reproduce, distribute, or publicly display the Game or any portion thereof, except as expressly permitted by this Agreement or applicable law. 3.2 Reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or otherwise attempt to derive the source code of the Game, except where such activity is expressly permitted by applicable law. 3.3 Modify, adapt, translate, or create derivative works based on the Game, except as permitted under Sections 4 and 5 of this Agreement. 3.4 Rent, lease, lend, sell, sublicense, or otherwise transfer the Game or your rights under this Agreement to any third party. 3.5 Remove, alter, or obscure any copyright, trademark, or other proprietary notices contained in the Game. 3.6 Use the Game for any commercial purpose without prior written consent from the Publisher.

4.1 The Game may support community content packs created by users ("User Content"). You retain ownership of any original content you create. 4.2 By distributing User Content through any channel associated with the Game (including but not limited to Steam Workshop), you grant the Publisher a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, reproduce, display, and distribute your User Content solely in connection with the Game and its community. 4.3 You represent that your User Content does not infringe on the intellectual property rights of any third party and does not contain unlawful, defamatory, or harmful material. 4.4 The Publisher is not responsible for any User Content and reserves the right to remove User Content that violates this Agreement or is otherwise objectionable.

5.1 The Game includes an optional feature that enables AI-powered content generation using external AI service providers. This feature requires you to provide your own API key for an OpenAI-compatible service. 5.2 When you use this feature, your requests are sent directly from your device to the AI provider you have configured. The Publisher does not process, store, or have access to your API key or the data exchanged between your device and the AI provider. 5.3 Content generated through the AI feature is subject to the terms of service and usage policies of the respective AI provider. The Publisher makes no representations or warranties regarding the output, accuracy, or legality of AI-generated content. 5.4 You are solely responsible for your use of the AI feature, including compliance with the AI provider's terms, any costs incurred, and any content generated. 5.5 The Publisher is not liable for any claims arising from your use of third-party AI services.

6.1 The Game's data practices are described in our Game Privacy Policy, which is available at protocol47press.com/game-privacy. By using the Game, you acknowledge that you have read the Game Privacy Policy.

7.1 THE GAME IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. 7.2 THE PUBLISHER DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE GAME WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF HARMFUL COMPONENTS.

8.1 TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL THE PUBLISHER BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF DATA, LOSS OF PROFITS, OR LOSS OF GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF THE GAME. 8.2 THE PUBLISHER'S TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH THIS AGREEMENT SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE GAME.

9.1 This Agreement is effective until terminated. Your rights under this Agreement will terminate automatically without notice if you fail to comply with any of its terms. 9.2 Upon termination, you must cease all use of the Game and destroy all copies in your possession. 9.3 The Publisher may also terminate this Agreement at any time by providing notice through the Steam platform or other reasonable means. 9.4 Sections 2, 7, 8, and 10 shall survive termination of this Agreement.

10.1 Governing Law. This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law, without regard to conflict of law principles. 10.2 Severability. If any provision of this Agreement is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect. 10.3 Entire Agreement. This Agreement, together with the Steam Subscriber Agreement and the Game Privacy Policy, constitutes the entire agreement between you and the Publisher regarding the Game. 10.4 Amendments. The Publisher reserves the right to modify this Agreement at any time. Updated terms will be posted alongside the Game.
