PROTOCOL 47 PRESS
Independent Publishing for the Post-Singularity Era
[ MISSION STATEMENT ]
Protocol 47 Press was founded on the belief that the future of books lies not in the reduction of their form, but in the expansion of their dimensions. We are a Silicon Valley-based independent publisher specializing in hard science fiction and cross-media narratives.
Our publications are not just text — they are living systems that can be forked, extended, and experienced. From terminal emulators to interactive archives, we explore every intersection between literature and engineering.
[ CORE PUBLICATIONS ]
Our flagship work, The Silence Archives trilogy, spans 1.2 million words across three volumes — weaving a narrative that moves from a Silicon Valley server room to the heat death of the universe. Published simultaneously in English and Traditional Chinese, with translations underway in multiple additional languages.
[ TECHNICAL PHILOSOPHY ]
Book-as-Code: We treat every publication as a living codebase. OTA content updates, CI/CD publishing pipelines, cryptographic provenance — this isn't a disruption of publishing, it's a return to its essence.
We build our own toolchain: from an 8-stage automation pipeline to a Proof-of-Creative-Work attestation engine, from a multi-model AI routing gateway to a quantum-branching narrative engine. Every line of code serves the same goal — letting creators retain 100% IP control.
Our first cross-media extension, Silence Archives: Terminal, transforms the trilogy's 360 narrative archives into a playable terminal hacking experience — available now on Steam.
